I am passionate about designing memorable experiences that empower people.
I was born in Bengaluru and brought up in Chennai in India. I inherited a knack for numbers from my dad, a savvy businessman, and an artistic flair from my mom, a seasoned artist.
This is my design journey with some snaps that represent me.

While this job fueled my passion for numbers, I was dissatisfied with the monotony and yearned for a creative twist.
I wanted to bridge the gap between raw data and meaningful interaction and have a positive impact on vastly more people.
My background in Finance & Data Analytics.
I graduated with my bachelor's in finance and data analytics from Ohio State University in May 2020. Then, I went on to work as a Financial Analyst at Avient Corporation. There, I became obsessed with data visualizations.
I was intrigued by how data visualizations could amplify the persuasive and informative potential of data.
In my spare time,
I'm probably trying new food places, travelling and watching dramas and medical shows on netflix.
Other than that, you'll find me cooking or baking yummy food, swimming, painting, and going on about Disney, Marvel or Harry Potter.

Bingo! It was UX.
When the pandemic hit, I saw it as a chance to explore new horizons. That's when I stumbled upon UX design competitions and decided to give it a go.
I was thrilled to find a niche where my analytical mind and creative flair could thrive. This was it — my passion. A Master's degree at University of Toronto and a year at IBM later...
I'm now a data-driven product designer, who transforms user needs into captivating experiences.

Designed a cutting-edge conversational UI experience with an AI-based recommendation sidebar, simplifying the test data creation and static & dynamic data masking process from 17 steps down to 4. Built a scalable design system (120+ components, patterns, guidance) while considering composition, layout, information hierarchy, typography, motion, color, to create 27 user flows and deliver 46 high-fidelity prototypes.

Increased task completion rate by 18% by creating a centralized operations management platform to enable seamless knowledge and internal resource sharing and navigation among employees.

May 2022 – Dec 2022
Achieved a 13% reduction in task completion time by leading a comprehensive redesign of the configure action button experience in IBM Planning Analytics, which involved streamlining complex workflows and simplifying the current IA. Reduced data analysis time 7% by integrating advanced formatting and conditional formatting features into the cube viewer within IBM Planning Analytics and ensured the designs followed WCAG 3.0.
